The project “Memories of things, Places, and life” tasks started. The MAPPALab team, in collaboration with the Multimedia Laboratory and the chairs of Cultural Anthropology and Methodology of Archaeological Research of the Department of Civilization and Forms of Knowledge of the University of Pisa, works with the Istituto Comprensivo Martiri di Sant’Anna di Stazzema. In February, we went to school and met the boys and girls who will work with us on constructing the counter-mapping of the mountain area of the Versilia side of the Apuan Alps. In
March, the first outings also began to discover the abandoned school buildings and to collect the testimonies of those living in the mountain hamlets of Stazzema.
