The call for paper for the next issue of ArcheoLogica Data is open (deadline May 31, 2023).
Next year we’ll be focusing on the mountain, for which the scientific community is starting to produce new interdisciplinary data: cataloguing of archaeological sites, collecting environmental data, analysing of the changes in resource management practices, investigating the abandonments that have produced the economic-social marginality and the loss of anthropogenic niches linked to the shapes of the disappeared landscape, and so on…
Archaeological, archaeo-botanical, archaeozoological and digital methods provided a mountain of data, now it’s time to share! The invitation is aimed at researchers, professionals, graduate and PhD students, and postdoc research fellows.
As usual, we have no limits of time and space: we want to explore mountain spaces in the whole diachrony, both high-altitude and “middle” mountain area.
Note that apers not related to this theme will also be considered for publication in the same issue, as long as integrated with a dataset.
