In the teaching program “Archaeology of Borders” students from the Department of Civilisation and Forms of Knowledge explored the Gothic Line on the Alpi Apuane. After three weeks of archaeological survey, the research will focus on the border represented by Lampedusa, a different and less material frontier line but still a real one. The multidisciplinary project will document the material traces of contemporary migrations meshing archaeological, anthropological and video communication approaches.
