MAPPALab presents a new class discovering new methodologies and approaches through the use of the digital technologies applied to the archaeology. Francesco Carrer (McCord Centre for Landscape of Newcastle University), landscape archaeologist, and GIS and spatial analysis specialist, will talk about “Domestic spaces and archaeological contexts: reconstructing human behaviour through spatial analysis”. After the lesson, a live demo on the archaeological use of “R” software will be shown together with Nevio Dubbini Partecipa (Miningful studio), data scientist and mathematical and statistical modelling specialist.
