On Wednesday, February 12th, we will participate in ArCHeoM 2025: Artificial Intelligence for Archaeology: Opportunities and Challenges (Swiss Institute, in Rome and online).
Gabriele Gattiglia will present a talk titled “From ArchAIDE to AUTOMATA: AI applications for archaeological pottery,” showcasing two MAPPAlab projects that employ Artificial Intelligence to study ceramic artifacts.
The workshop includes introductory lessons in computer vision, archaeological projects, and related disciplines, while also offering opportunities for discussion and exchange. It is particularly aimed at young researchers interested in exploring and engaging with this pioneering field.
