The Department of History, Cultures, and Civilizations at the University of Bologna has organized a workshop titled “The Apennines Between Past and Present: Resources, Environment, Open Data” on February 7th.
The event, rich in guest speakers and discussion opportunities, will examine this mountainous region from multiple perspectives: from theoretical approaches to mountain archaeology to applied experiences and the challenges surrounding archaeological data production.
MappaLab will contribute with a presentation titled “Data, Legacy Data, Open Data, Big Data,” delivered by Prof. Gabriele Gattiglia.
The workshop, held in Italian, can be followed online via Teams: Virtual Classroom.
