Mura Night Experience 2020
MAPPALab is one of the partners of “Mura Night Experience” project, started in 2020. The project is creating a new cross-media narrative around the Wall of Pisa and the history of the town. Video mapping shows, educational videos, photographic contests and multimedia expositions will be the innovative tools used to tell stories and engaged people in several events. Unfortunately, the timeline of the project has been shifted due to the Covid-19 pandemic and to follow the emergency rules.
The first public event is planned on 25-26-27 September and 2-3-4 October 2020. The walls of Pisa will host nightly cinematographic tours where, the history of the city from the Roman age to World War II, will be narrated by audio and video contents. Small groups of people will be able to listen and see the history on the facades close to the walls, walking on the communication trench.
Mura Night Experience is led by Acquario della Memoria cultural association and funded by Pisa Foundation. Partner of the project: Ati Mura di Pisa, Municipality of Pisa, Coopculture, Nanof Srl, MAPPALab, Internet Festival, Alma Artis Academy.
